White Rhinoceros

Ceratotherium simum

White rhinos have two horns, exactly like the other African species, the black rhinos. Contrary to what their name suggests, both species have similar color. White rhinos can be distinguished by their square upper lip, which is pointed in black rhinos. This picture was taken at Louisville zoo, in May 2001.
