Gorillas are herbivorous. They live in western equatorial Africa and are related to chimpanzees but are less erect and much larger (the largest of anthropoid apes). The big male gorilla in the first picture was apparently wondering whether he should keep watching those other smaller, hairless apes, who had been brought by the hundreds for his entertainment into his zoo in Cincinnati, Ohio, in May 2001. The other two pictures are from the Chicago Brookfield zoo, in August 1999.
